Privacy Policy
Parscend ("Parscend," "we," "us") builds software that automates business workflows — including parsing quote request emails into structured dashboards, and scheduling social media posts with client tracking. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request that it be deleted.
What we collect
What we collect depends on which Parscend service is in use:
- Sales CRM & Dashboards: when a business connects their inbox or forwards quote-request emails to Parscend, we process the content of those emails (and attachments) — such as contact names, company names, part specifications, quantities, and pricing — in order to log them to that business's private dashboard.
- Automated Social & Client Tracking: when a business uses Parscend to schedule and publish social media posts, we access the connected social media account(s) only as needed to publish content and respond to public comments or messages, and may log basic lead contact details (name, phone, email) that a prospective client submits, so our client can track them.
- Website visitors: if you simply browse parscend.com, we collect minimal technical data (such as general analytics) and use cookies as described below. We do not require an account or login to view this site.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers necessary to run the platform (for example, email delivery and hosting providers, and the AI service used to parse email content).
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to provide the service our clients have signed up for: logging and organizing quote requests, sending confirmation emails, publishing scheduled social content, and tracking leads for our clients' own dashboards. We do not use it for advertising or resell it to other companies.
How to request deletion
Anyone — whether you're a Parscend client, one of their customers, or a website visitor — can request that we delete data we hold about you. There's no cost to make this request, and it applies regardless of your location.
To request deletion, email data@parscend.com with a description of the data and, if known, which business's dashboard it's associated with. We will confirm your request and delete the applicable data without undue delay.
Cookies
This site uses a minimal set of cookies to remember your cookie preference and, where enabled, to understand general site traffic. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown when you first visit, and you can change your browser settings at any time to block cookies entirely.
Data retention
We retain data for as long as it's needed to provide the service to our client, or until a deletion request is received, whichever comes first.
Children's privacy
Parscend's services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Parscend's services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
